APARTMENT RULES
These rules are meant as a guideline for the very few people who are unsure or not concerned about how the property of others and other people should be respected. For most of you reading this, these rules will be normal practice.
1. Arrival not before 16.00 – Departure BY 09.00 - 09.30. 2. Payment – 30% deposit on booking. Final payment by bank at least two weeks before arrival - or in cash on day of arrival. 3. Parking – one space per apartment where available – request required for extra spaces 4. Lost keys - €10 charge each. 5. Heating – thermostats with timers – windows open for long periods in winter will cause frost damage. 6. Open windows for short periods after bath/shower/cooking to avoid mildew damage. 7. Do not walk around apartments or stairs/hallways in ski boots – they cause noise and damage. 8. Excessive noise is not tolerated – groups should not congregate in any one apartment. 9. Breakages – should be notified – the owner will decide if payment is necessary. Receipts will be supplied. 10. Only persons booked into the apartments may enter. 11. Ecology matters – turn off unnecessary lights.
HOW YOU ARE EXPECTED TO LEAVE AN APARTMENT
1. Apartments should be left as found. 2. No rubbish should be left in the apartment. General rubbish – in square bins with orange stripe, glass, cardboard, plastic in appropriate recycling bins – all found at intervals along main roads. 3. Fridge – should be wiped out. Any unwanted food should be left on the kitchen work surface. 4. Plates, saucepans, cutlery, glasses etc should be washed and put away in the appropriate place. 5. Kitchen equipment must stay in the apartment. Missing items will be charged for. 6. Oven/microwave must be left as found. If you do not wish to clean it, do not use it. 7. Towels, where provided, are for personal use only and not for general cleaning.
RULES MUST BE RESPECTED AT ALL TIMES. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EXCLUDE, WITHOUT REFUND, DISRESPECTFUL CLIENTS.
A DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES MUST BE SIGNED ON ARRIVAL AND ONE CREDIT CARD NUMBER PER APARTMENT MUST BE GIVEN TO THE OWNER – SHOULD THERE BE ANY DAMAGE, EXCESS CLEANING OR ITEMS MISSING YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT. PROOF OF DAMAGE, IN THE FORM OF PHOTOS WILL BE PROVIDED ALONG WITH/AND/OR RECEIPTS. EXTRA CLEANING IS CHARGED FOR AT €40 PER HOUR.
